Travelocity.com Online Advertising Product Manager
As a product manager on Travelocity`s Media Team you will be joining the team responsible for growing Travelocity`s online advertising business by leading projects to develop advertising products/solutions for our advertisers. The product manager is involved in all stages of the product lifecycle (strategy through implementation) and is responsible for driving projects to completion.
We are looking for a candidate who is extremely web-savvy and has a proven track record building online products. You will be joining a small, enthusiastic team that works in a casual and collaborative environment with a focus on high-quality results. This role will be based in Travelocity`s New York (SoHo) office.
Specific responsibilities of this position will include:
• Working with internal teams to define the requirements for new advertising products and enhancements to established advertising products.
• Coordinating with multiple teams (including: Design, Technology, QA and Project Management) to deliver projects on-time.
• Serviong as primary point of contact for project status updates.
• Working with the Marketing Communications, Client Services and Advertising Sales teams on launching new products to the market.
• Analyzing the direct market space and adjacent spaces. Prepare recommendations for product strategy.
• Reviewing and re-prioritizing the queue of upcoming projects as needed.
This role requires:
• A thorough understanding of the online advertising business (CPC, CPM, CPA) and a solid understanding of web technologies and web metrics reporting tools.
• Experience working in an environment that uses an Agile software development methodology.
• Experience defining business requirements.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and resources simultaneously to meet goals.
• Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally, and globally
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Strong analytical skills and an innate interest in solving problems.

EDUCATION: Bachelor degree or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3 years related experience. Advanced computer software skills. Good communication skills, written and verbal; ability to handle multiple projects.
